ULTRASONIC RANGE FINDER
Intro : Current Technology, range finder using ultrasonic is using time parameter to find distance to the object. This measurement depends on temperature and humidity that directly affect to the sound speed. However, one parameter that might affecting distance as the result of measurement. It could be kind of material object. The question is, are they relationship (equation or table) between time dependent and mass coefficient to get error analysis to perform measurement with different object material ?
For the assumption: distance accuracy measurement is depend on material object. Hard, Soft or medium might have different result. And the Intensity of ultrasonic wave can be absorbed on the object so that with the same distance but different object to be measured will get different distance result.
I open this discussion is purpose to my Journal, ... and positive feedback, suggestion or advise are welcome.
